Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, our local guide will be waiting for you at Tan Son Nhat Airport to escort you to your hotel for check-in. Your room will be available from 02:00 PM onwards, allowing you time to settle in.
The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Meals will be on your own, and you will spend the night at the hotel.
Between 08:00 and 08:30 AM, our guide will pick you up from your hotel to commence the city tour, which includes:
Independence Palace (formerly the Norodom Palace), a symbol of Vietnamese independence.
War Remnants Museum, showcasing artifacts from the Indochina wars.
Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office, iconic French colonial structures.
Jade Emperor Pagoda, renowned for its tranquil ambiance and intricate details.
At 12:30 PM, you will enjoy lunch at a renowned Phở restaurant, savoring the famous Vietnamese noodle soup.
Following lunch, around 02:00 PM, embark on a 1.5-hour journey through picturesque countryside to reach the Cu Chi Tunnels, a historic site utilized by Vietnamese soldiers during wartime. This extensive network spans over 250 km and served as a vital shelter for soldiers.
Between 06:00 and 07:00 PM, you will be dropped off at your hotel, where you can enjoy dinner on your own. Spend the night at the hotel.
Check out of the hotel and store your luggage at the lobby.
Between 08:30 and 09:00 AM, depart from your hotel for My Tho, a town situated on the left bank of the Mekong River.
Embark on a sampan and cruise along the river, passing by the picturesque Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands.
Make a stop at Unicorn Island to stroll along country lanes, explore orchards, and indulge in tropical fruits while enjoying traditional folk music.
Visit a fruit plantation and take a ride on a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal.
Explore a family business, visit a honey-bee farm, and participate in a workshop where you can enjoy honey tea and coconut candy. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.
Embark on a cycling tour around Tan Thach village to immerse yourself in the daily life of the Mekong Delta locals.
Between 05:00 and 05:30 PM, return to your hotel to retrieve your luggage. Our driver will then transfer you to the airport for your domestic flight to Hanoi.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, our tour guide and driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Dinner arrangements are at your discretion. Spend the night at the hotel.
07:45 – 08:15 AM: Your hotel pickup is arranged, and we’ll commence our journey to Ninh Binh City.
10:00 AM: Upon arrival at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, dating back to the 11th century, explore the historic site, including temples dedicated to emperors Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh, their offspring, and Queen Duong Van Nga, who married both emperors successively.
11:00 AM: Venture into the Trang An Grottoes, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Embark on a 2-hour rowing boat excursion to explore the cave complex, featuring Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, and Nau Ruou, offering captivating landscapes reminiscent of Halong Bay on land in Ninh Binh.
Additionally, visit the filming location of Kong: Skull Island, the aboriginal village (Skull Island Village), with insights provided by our tour guide.
Return to the Wharf and savor lunch at a local restaurant.
02:00 PM: Cycle to Bich Dong Pagoda, a cluster of enchanting caves housing ancient shrines, surrounded by imposing limestone mountains, renowned for its antiquity and prominence.
03:45 PM: Regroup at the shuttle bus for the return journey to Hanoi.
06:00 PM: Arrive at your hotel for drop-off. Dinner arrangements are at your discretion. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.
07:30 – 08:00 AM: Hotel pickup initiates the 3.5-hour picturesque journey to Halong Bay on a shuttle bus.
12:45 PM: Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Harbor, board a Day cruise after a brief cruise briefing. Enjoy lunch as you cruise through the emerald waters, passing by iconic landmarks like the Dog Stone and the Burning Incense islet. Make a stop at Ba Hang fishing village for kayaking or a ride in a sampan boat rowed by locals.
Explore Fighting-Cock islet and the Heavenly Palace (Thien Cung) cave.
Indulge in a tea break while relishing local finger food and the sunset over Halong Bay.
04:45 – 05:15 PM: Return to the harbor, disembark, and board the bus for the journey back to Hanoi.
08:30 PM: Arrive at your hotel for drop-off. Enjoy dinner at your leisure and spend the night at the hotel.
Enjoy your free time until it’s time for your transfer back to Noi Bai airport for your departure flight home. Meals will be at your own expense.
