You can check-in at your hotel at 2:00 PM. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore the city or simply relax at your hotel. Meals are not included, and you will need to arrange them on your own. You will spend the night at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
In the morning, you will travel to My Tho, a small town on the Mekong River. On the way, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery on National Highway before boarding a sampan boat and cruising down the river.
Upon arrival in My Tho, visit the Vinh Trang pagoda, the largest pagoda in Tien Giang province, and then take a relaxing boat ride to see the countryside along the river.
Stop at Tortoise Islet and have lunch in an orchard garden before heading to An Khanh to experience local daily life in the Mekong Delta and ride a hand-rowed sampan along natural canals. You can also enjoy tropical fruit and honey tea and listen to folk songs performed by locals at a local family’s home.
Finally, return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening. Dinner on your own, and you will spend the night at the hotel.
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel, then proceed on a tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels. These tunnels, stretching over 250 kilometers, are a significant historical site that was used by Vietnamese soldiers during the 1960s, playing a crucial role in the Vietnam War. The tunnels not only allowed the Viet Cong to dominate a vast rural area near Ho Chi Minh City but also functioned as an underground city, including hospitals, schools, meeting rooms, kitchens, and sleeping quarters.
Upon completion of the tour, return to the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The afternoon is free for you to go shopping. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
You will be taken to Tan Son Nhat International Airport in the morning to catch your flight to Da Nang, which is known as one of the most livable cities in Vietnam. Once you arrive, our guide will greet you and take you to the charming Ancient Town of Hoi An. You will have the rest of the day to explore the town on your own and enjoy its beauty.
Spend the day exploring the charming Hoi An Old Town on your own. This city is known for its well-preserved traditional architecture and rich history. Take your time to stroll around and appreciate the unique beauty of the town.
On this day, you will travel towards the foothills of the mountain spine of Indochina. Your destination is My Son – a holy Sanctuary comprising more than 70 towers and temples dedicated to Shiva and other Hindu gods. This remarkable complex, made of red bricks and exquisite sandstone, is located about 70km southwest of Danang and 40km from Hoi An.
After exploring My Son, enjoy a boat trip on the Thu Bon River, followed by a soft lunch of My Quang traditional noodle at a local restaurant. You’ll also visit Kim Bong Carpentry Village, a traditional work village specializing in cabinet making and shipbuilding.
Afterward, you will return to Hoi An, and the rest of the day is at your leisure. Meals are on your own, and you will spend the night at the hotel.
Once you finish breakfast, you will be taken from Hoi An to Da Nang Airport to catch a flight to Hanoi, the bustling capital of Vietnam situated in the northern part of the country. Upon arrival, you will be received and taken to the hotel where you will have the rest of the day to yourself. Spend the night at the hotel in Hanoi.
Today, you will embark on an exciting journey to Halong Bay, a renowned attraction in northern Vietnam characterized by thousands of stunning limestone islands scattered throughout the bay.
To get there, you will take a shuttle bus that will pass through the serene countryside, rice fields, and the lush Red River Delta. Upon arriving at the pier around noon, you will board a luxurious cruise and receive a warm welcome drink from the crew and captain. You will then attend a cruise briefing before settling into your cabin.
As the ship sails through the bay, passing by many jungle-covered mountains and mysterious caves, you will enjoy a delicious lunch. You will also have plenty of time to swim in the crystal-clear water, climb up to a high point for a panoramic view of the bay, or kayak around the towering limestone karsts.
Later, the ship will cruise to a tranquil anchorage spot. In the evening, you can join other passengers on the sundeck and enjoy the mesmerizing scenery while sipping a refreshing cocktail. Afterward, savor the flavors of Vietnamese cuisine for dinner.
Following dinner, you can participate in a range of onboard activities, including games, squid fishing, or watching movies.
Begin your day with a calming Tai Chi session on board the ship, set against the serene surroundings, to revitalize your body and mind.
As you have breakfast, the ship sails through the maze of karsts and caves in the bay.
After breakfast, get ready to disembark from your cabin. While the ship returns to the harbor, you can use this time to relax on board or take in the breathtaking views.
A brunch will be served on the ship before it arrives back at the harbor. From there, a shuttle bus will transfer you to Hanoi, where you are expected to arrive around 5:00 pm.
Today, you will be picked up from your hotel (without a guide) and transferred to Noi Bai International Airport for your departure flight. Please note that you can only use your room until noon.
