7-DAY HIGHLIGHTS OF VIETNAM WITH YOUR FAMILY

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s largest metropolis. Our guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for checking in. Your room will be ready from 2:00 PM. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore at your leisure.

Meals are on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

08:00 – 08:30 AM: You will be picked up from your hotel to begin the city tour, which includes:

Independence Palace (Reunification Palace), built on the site of the former Norodom Palace.

War Remnants Museum, showcasing extensive exhibits from the Indochina wars.

Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office, beautiful examples of French Colonial architecture.

Jade Emperor Pagoda, known for its peaceful atmosphere and the many stories behind its intricate details.

12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at a famous Phở restaurant (Vietnamese noodle soup).

02:00 PM: Depart for a 1.5-hour drive through the pleasant countryside to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a historic site where Vietnamese soldiers took shelter during wartime. This impressive network stretches over 250 km. There is also a shooting range where, for a fee, you can try firing automatic or semi-automatic weapons (fee not included).

06:00 – 07:00 PM: Return to your hotel. Dinner is at your own expense. Overnight at the hotel.

Set off from your hotel to My Tho, a charming town nestled on the Mekong River’s left bank.

Embark on a sampan to meander along the river, encircling the picturesque Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands.

Pause at Unicorn Island to stroll through rustic lanes, witness verdant orchards, relish tropical fruits, and enjoy traditional folk music.

Glide on a manually-rowed sampan through the serene Thoi Son canal.

Explore a local family-run enterprise, delve into a honey-bee farm, savor honey tea, and observe a coconut candy workshop. Relish a meal at a nearby restaurant.

Pedal through Tan Thach village, engage with the inhabitants, and immerse yourself in the Mekong Delta’s everyday life.

Tour a lush fruit plantation.

Return to your hotel between 05:00 and 05:30 PM. The evening is yours to enjoy, with dinner on your own and an overnight hotel stay..

Spend your free time at leisure until our driver arrives to transfer you to the airport for your domestic flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by the tour guide and driver, who will take you to your hotel for check-in. Your room will be available from 2:00 PM.

Between 7:45 and 8:15 AM, you’ll be transported by the cruise shuttle bus to Halong Bay, a stunning destination in northern Vietnam.

At 12:00 PM, board the main cruise via a tender boat and enjoy lunch.

At 2:00 PM, explore a cave adorned with impressive stalactites and stalagmites, followed by a leisurely swim in a secluded cave.

Evening: Savor dinner aboard the cruise and spend the night there.

Engage in a revitalizing Tai Chi session on the sundeck as dawn unfolds. Enjoy a selection of tea and coffee on the cruise.

Embark on a journey through Ha Long Bay, navigating its 2000 islets and taking in the prominent attractions. The usual checkout time is 9:30 AM. Indulge in a buffet brunch while the cruise makes its way back to the mainland.

After reaching the shore, you’ll be transferred back to Hanoi.

Your room is available to use until noon. And then, our driver will come and transfer you to the airport for your flight home. End of service!
