Itinerary

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s largest metropolis. Our guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for checking in. Your room will be ready from 2:00 PM. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore at your leisure.

Meals are on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

08:00 – 08:30 AM: You will be picked up from your hotel to begin the city tour, which includes:

Independence Palace (Reunification Palace), built on the site of the former Norodom Palace.

War Remnants Museum, showcasing extensive exhibits from the Indochina wars.

Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office, beautiful examples of French Colonial architecture.

Jade Emperor Pagoda, known for its peaceful atmosphere and the many stories behind its intricate details.

12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at a famous Phở restaurant (Vietnamese noodle soup).

02:00 PM: Depart for a 1.5-hour drive through the pleasant countryside to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a historic site where Vietnamese soldiers took shelter during wartime. This impressive network stretches over 250 km. There is also a shooting range where, for a fee, you can try firing automatic or semi-automatic weapons (fee not included).

06:00 – 07:00 PM: Return to your hotel. Dinner is at your own expense. Overnight at the hotel.

08:00 – 08:30 AM: Depart from Ho Chi Minh City and travel to Ben Tre, crossing the impressive Rach Mieu Cable-stayed Bridge. Board a small boat to visit local workplaces, including brick factories, a coconut processing workshop, and a mat-weaving house.

Stop at a quiet village, take a short walk to experience local life, and then ride a Xe-lôi (a type of motorized rickshaw).

12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at a riverside restaurant.

01:30 PM: Take a short cycling tour to explore the surrounding fields, then board a sampan for a peaceful trip along the scenic canals. Return to the port and head back to Saigon.

05:00 PM: Arrive at your hotel. Dinner is on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Spend your free time at leisure until our driver arrives to transfer you to the airport for your domestic flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by the tour guide and driver, who will take you to your hotel for check-in. Your room will be available from 2:00 PM.

02:00 PM: Begin the city tour to visit the most famous sights, including:

Ho Chi Minh Complex (outside), where President Ho Chi Minh rests in peace.

The traditional stilt house and the One-Pillar Pagoda, known for its unique structure.

Ngoc Son Temple, dedicated to Tran Hung Dao, the General Commander renowned for his defense against the Mongols.

A tour of the Old Quarter by electric car, offering a fun and eco-friendly way to explore the vibrant life of Hanoi’s Old Quarters.

05:30 PM: Return to the hotel. Meals are on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

07:45 – 08:15 AM: You will be picked up from your hotel and depart for Ninh Binh City.

10:00 AM: Arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, dating back to the 11th century. Explore temples dedicated to emperors Dinh Tien Hoang, Le Dai Hanh, and Queen Duong Van Nga.

11:00 AM: Proceed to Trang An Grottoes, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Enjoy a 2-hour boat trip to explore cave complexes such as Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, and Nau Ruou, amidst the breathtaking landscape reminiscent of Halong Bay. Your guide will also show you the filming location of Kong: Skull Island – the aboriginal village (Skull Island Village).

After the boat trip, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

02:00 PM: Cycle to Bich Dong Pagoda, a series of atmospheric caves adorned with ancient shrines, nestled amidst limestone mountains.

03:45 PM: Return to the shuttle bus and head back to Hanoi.

06:00 PM: Drop off at your hotel. Dinner is on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

07:30 – 08:00 AM: You will be picked up from your hotel to begin the 3.5-hour scenic drive to Halong Bay.

12:45 PM: Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Harbor, embark on a day cruise after a short briefing. Enjoy lunch on board as you cruise through the emerald waters, passing by landmarks like the Dog Stone and the Burning Incense islet. Stop at Ba Hang fishing village for kayaking or a sampan boat ride rowed by locals. Visit Fighting-Cock islet and the Heavenly Palace (Thien Cung) cave.

Take a tea break while indulging in local finger food and witnessing the sunset in Halong Bay.

04:45 – 05:15 PM: Return to the harbor, disembark, and board the bus back to Hanoi.

08:30 PM: Arrive at your hotel. Dinner is at your own expense. Overnight at the hotel.

Your room is available to use until noon. And then, our driver will come and transfer you to the airport for your flight home. End of service!
